If she does want human contact, she calls her estranged husband and the daughter that lives with him. She spends her days watching black and white movies, playing chess and learning French online, drinking too much while ignoring or doubling up on her meds, and counseling others like her in an online forum for people with agoraphobia.

There is not a single original concept about this book, the woman in the window. Want to Read saving…. Anna suffers from agoraphobia that keeps her locked in as a prisoner of her own home and of her own mind. The Woman in the Window is intoxicating, dark, salade? It isn't paranoia if it's really happening I'll be on the lookout for more from Finn.

Finn also got me with the constant classic movie references and Hitchcock stuff. Some of her reactions seemed If you are looking for a gripping book that will capture your attention and keep you turning pages late into the night, The Woman in the Window is for you! In the real world, she'd be face down, not breathing, and with carpet marks all over her face. It should be good!
Being honest, The Woman in the Window is a bit slow to start. Can she trust herself. It's about a woman called Anna who lives alone ever since separating from her husband and daughter.
